Peewee 1 Clinches Back-to-Back A1 Division Titles
Congratulations to the Strongsville Youth Hockey Club Peewee 1 team for capturing the CSHL 12U A1 Division title for the second consecutive season! The Mustangs followed up last year’s championship run with an even more dominant campaign in 2025–26, finishing undefeated with a 14-0-2 record and once again sitting atop the division standings.
The Mustangs closed the season with 30 points and a league-leading 0.938 points percentage (P%), showcasing consistency, resilience, and elite play at both ends of the ice.
Season Highlights
🔥 Explosive Offense
Strongsville led the division with 83 goals scored, showcasing a fast, creative, and balanced attack. Every line contributed, making the Mustangs one of the toughest teams in the league to defend.
🧱 Elite Defense & Goaltending
Allowing just 29 goals against, the Mustangs also led the division defensively. Their +54 goal differential was the best in A1, a testament to disciplined team defense and outstanding goaltending.
🧠 Discipline & Special Teams
With 39 penalty minutes on the season, the Mustangs continued to play a smart, structured game, limiting time shorthanded while maintaining pressure on opponents.
🏒 Winning in a Tight Division
Despite finishing undefeated, the A1 race was highly competitive, with 8 games decided by two goals or fewer, including two 3–3 ties. Strongsville’s composure in tight games proved to be the difference in securing the division title.

Whether protecting a late lead, grinding out defensive wins, or pulling away in high-scoring matchups, Peewee 1 delivered all season long. Their undefeated record reflects preparation, teamwork, and a championship mindset.
